What We Do

Purpose

Daily Bread Projects is devoted to assisting children and communities faced with risks stemming from poverty, homelessness, sexual exploitation, modern slavery, and AIDS. Our support covers a wide range of essential needs, including housing, education, and provisions of food and clothing.

We actively address immediate needs by engaging in projects and programmes aimed at serving communities in various areas, such as training, micro-finance initiatives, and spiritual development, including pastoral care. These initiatives exemplify our comprehensive approach to the development and well-being of individuals and communities.

We play a significant role in training church leaders and teams, equipping them with the necessary skills to provide effective pastoral care and support within their communities. Through empowering and strengthening local leadership, our goal is to foster sustainable change and create a lasting network of support.

During times of natural disasters or emergencies, Daily Bread Projects remains prepared to participate in emergency programmes and relief work. We are fully committed to providing immediate aid and support to those affected, demonstrating our unwavering devotion to assisting communities during times of crisis.

Objectives

Daily Bread Projects provides safe and nurturing family-based care for orphans and vulnerable children within local communities.

Offers small bursaries to assist young people in continuing their education and training, overcoming financial barriers that might otherwise prevent their progress.

Ensures sustenance packages reach vulnerable individuals, particularly the elderly, within the community.

Offers invaluable advice and support to parents, providing guidance on parenting and childcare.

Provides interest-free small loans to help individuals establish sustainable livelihoods through small business ventures.

Organises recreational activities tailored for young people in the local communities. Alongside this, our team provides dedicated pastoral care to individuals, addressing their emotional and spiritual needs.

Delivers training and support a team of pastors and leaders who serve the community, offering care, advice, and guidance to individuals and families.

In collaboration with local churches, we provide comprehensive training in Theological Studies and Christian principles and values. Mentoring and providing spiritual support to pastors and leaders, ensuring their ongoing growth and development.

During times of emergency or natural disasters, such as floods, Daily Bread Projects springs into action by promptly distributing relief aid and assistance. We work closely with other agencies, coordinating efforts aimed at minimizing trauma and distress suffered by affected communities.
